Everyone loves food. Everyone needs food. And we at ConCoction want you to have as many food
choices as possible when you join us for the weekend. So with that in mind, we will be having three
local food trucks (or really two trucks and one pop up food vendor) at the con this year.

Puentes Tijuana Tacos will be serving up their excellent Tijuana style tacos (which I’ve never had but look really kinda amazing).

Best Damn Smoked Meats BBQ will be bringing the smoke and sauce.

​And The Real Chef’s Food Truck will be there as well. TRCFT has a sort of rolling/rotating menu, but decisions will be made soon as to what the con menu will be.

We are now in the final week of 2023 Membership Pre-Registraion and a weekend badged membership is now $40 through to Friday, March 10th.  

Mail-in options and group rate mail-in options are also still available - they MUST be postmarked no later than Friday, March 10th or received by March 13th if in person.

Your Fandom Escape by the Lake

We're now just a little under two short weeks time from ConCoction 2023's Convention.
Many departments are still in need of and accepting volunteers for this year's convention. 

We will need help in Programming, Publicity, ConSuite, Art Show, Charity Silent Auction, Gaming, Security and possibly also in Operations. 

We will also need help setting up on Thursday evening (this includes loading in) and tearing down on Sunday evening (this includes loading out), before the Dead Dog.
​

Eight hours over the course of the weekend gets you a partial membership reimbursement and twelve hours gets you a bigger membership reimbursement.

Your Fandom Escape by the Lake​

Olivia Berrier is often clueless and always shoeless. She left behind many footprints at Hollins University in Virginia, where she studied Creative Writing and Mathematics. After college, her bare feet have carried her through many experiences, but her life remains anchored by writing. She is in love with candles, tea, yoga, running, snail-mail correspondence, napping, and memorizing the decimals of Pi.
 
Berrier is the author of A BOOK WITHOUT DRAGONS and THE WORLD THAT FORGOT HOW TO DANCE.
 
Vik K Walker has been telling stories since she learned how to speak.  Hand in hand with her most trusted friend, an imaginary boy named Charlie, she wove many a tale of aliens and evil clones who impersonated her elder brothers. When Charlie faded away, she continued to live in her own fantasy world, telling her stories to her stuffed animals, and finally writing them down when she was old enough to know how.
 
Walker is the award winning author of paranormal romance and fantasy fiction, including the ENLIGHTENED series.

Cleveland ConCoction Discord

In an effort to be in better contact with our extended ConCoction community, reach out to new and current volunteers, as well as communicate with other fandom and convention groups, we have created a Cleveland ConCoction Discord server. 

This will be open to all of the membership, and not just during convention hours, but year-round.

MailChimp Email Service

MailChimp has updated their plans and rules of service and has made that a less viable option for our group cost wise. 

We are currently exploring other options, but may have to go back to standard email list mailings or a list serve option.  Once we have more information here, we will inform the Membership.
