Doug Farren
BiographyDoug was born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, raised in rural Minnesota, and now lives and works in Northern Ohio. He is a veteran having spent 11 years in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear reactor operator (nuke ET). He then went to work at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant as a Nuclear Instrument and Controls Technician. In 2014, he accepted a position as work management database administrator and now spends his days writing computer code. Doug is married to a very supportive wife. Cheryl is responsible for prodding him to get his first book published and is also his proofreader.
Doug is an avid science fiction reader preferring 'hard' science fiction. As an author, he prefers to write science fiction that is heavy in the science department. He has tried his hand at fantasy and the resulting story has been applauded by many of those who have read it as a unique approach to traditional dragon books.
