We're getting close to convention time - so here's some reminders on the pre-event deadlines coming up: 

1) Custom ribbon orders: January 30th (1/30/16)

2) GM signups: February 1st (2/1/16)

3) Hotel room block closes February 8th (2/8/16)

4) Program Book: February 10th (2/10/16)
**This is also the deadline for ads, artists, vendors, panels, games, programming, games, etc. to be included in the book. signups after this date in some areas *may* still be possible, but limited.**

5) Mail-in pre-registration/group registration: Must be postmarked by February 20th (2/20/16)

6) Online pre-registration: Ends midnight, February 29th (2/29/16)

In the last two years of our members-only convention you've been asking us for an option for people to be able to come in and visit just the Exhibit Hall, Artshow, and Author Alley, for those that just want to network and shop and *not* attend all the amazing panels, workshops, meet & greets, gaming, consuite, parties, and other things ConCoction has to offer. 

You asked, and we listened.
This year we are trying out a Sunday-only "Hall Pass" limited membership that will allow access to those three areas only. "Hall Pass" attendees will still need to come to the Registration area to sign in & get their pass, but from there they can peruse the Artists, Authors & Vendors until the end of the show. 

This option will not be available on any other day of the convention. It will only be available on Sunday from the time Registration opens (10am) until the shows close (3pm).

​Stop in, grab a Hall Pass membership this year, and then check us out and consider coming back for the full convention in 2017! 

If you are planning to be an onsite or mail-in artist in the Artshow at ConCoction 2016, be sure to sign-up soon! 

We have tables, panels, and table/panel spaces still left for attending or mail-in artists, but the room is filling up fast. 

Also, to be listed in the Onsite Program book, all submissions MUST be in by February 10th - No Exceptions!

The Volunteer Staff of ConCoction 2016 are pleased to be able to welcome back the ever fantastic Mogchelle of Mogchelle Cosplay! 

Mogchelle joined us last year at ConCoction 2015, and we are excited to have her back with us with new demos and/or workshops to be announced in the Programming planning.

Exciting news here from our Hotel/Party Liaison! 

We are very pleased to announce that Dog Star Books will be having a Release Party for two of their newest offerings on Friday night at Cleveland ConCoction 2016. Many of their authors will be attendance, but you can be sure to meet Heidi Ruby Miller, whose newest book "STARRIE," (which is part of her Ambassadors Series) will be one of the featured offerings.
The other new and cool thing to find at this party is Matt Betts' science fiction poetry collection, which goes by the name of "Underwater Fistfight." I don't know what an underwater fistfight would be like, and I bet that neither do you. 

Stop by this party in the Sheraton's A Wing on Friday night to find out!!!

We are happy to announce that this year we will be offering an After Dark programming set in Main Programming. 
The after dark programming will include panels and performances with a more adult flair or topic.

Starting at 9pm the programming hallway will have limited access (with signage) limiting the area to those 16 and above. 
After 11 pm the area will be limited to those 18 and above. This will NOT affect any late night youth programming as that is in a different hallway.

The ConCoction volunteers, friends & family are happy to welcome back Lorain, Ohio native, Santiago Cirilo! 
Santiago was with us in 2014 at Year One for ConCoction and he's quickly become a ConCoction Fan Favorite! 

He will be here to talk about his many projects including "The Nephilim Chronicles", "Doctor Who Lucky 13", and many others, as well as his ongoing mission to promote the "A Veteran's Homecoming" movie that works toward helping homeless vets and vets battling PTSD.
