Another Fall Masquerade has come and gone, and lot of fun was had by many friends old and new. This year we had several kids and teens at the event as well. 
Costume contest was set up for 6 winners at 3 age levels (kids, teens and adults) with prizes for male and female winners. 

Columbus, Ohio area musician Pete Mako (iampetemako.com) was also on tour this month and stopped in to perform live for our event this year. Songs of monsters & relationships were enjoyed by many before the night was out. 

There were also some drawing prizes and a 50/50 drawing. 
This year's charity was again The Gathering Place that provides cancer support services to patients and their families in the Cleveland area. From their website: 
"The Gathering Place offers a wide variety of free programs and services that address the emotional, physical, spiritual and social needs of those touched by cancer. We provide support to individuals diagnosed and their family members and friends at any point on the journey; at time of diagnosis and during and after treatment."

Musician Pete Mako will be making an appearance at this year's Fall Masquerade on October 9th! 

Pete Mako is an acoustic guitar playing singer-songwriter from Columbus Ohio. Playing guitar and singing since 2007. Pete’s Music is heavily influenced by songs with booming chords and powerful vocals, From such artists as Butch Walker, Scott Weiland, Bryan Adams, and Various artists from the 80’s and 90’s. Pete brings a lighter side of horror movies to his music with songs incorporating his fandom of oddities, supernatural things, monsters, video games, Anime, and stories about life. Pete is a open and honest nerd. Growing up reading comics and watching Old sci-fi shows greatly influences his music. Kirby Krackle, Jonathon Coulton, MC Front-A-Lot, and The Aquabats are huge inspirations to his "nerd-core" side of music. Songs about zombies, vampires, robots and superheroes are always fun...right?

On Friday, October 9th we will be hosting a Fall Masquerade at Dave & Buster's from 7pm - 12am. Dave & Busters will be open after the event until 1am.  
Come as your favorite Superhero, Masked Hero or Heroine from Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, Harry Potter, Anime, or more! 

There will be no set seating, but admittance purchase prior to the event is strongly encouraged as food will be ordered based on planned attendance. 
This event is limited to approx. 250 people. 
Admit can be puchased at door but will not aid in attendance planning, so pre-purchase is strongly encouraged

Powercards are available in $10 and $20 increments and ConCoction 2015 Convention will receive proceeds from these card sales.  
There is no limit on the number of powercards a person may purchase and powercards may be mailed for those unable to attend and reauthorized at any Dave & Buster's location.
