​S. Andrew Swann is the pen name of Steven Swiniarski. He’s married and lives in the Greater Cleveland area where he has lived all of his adult life. He has a background in mechanical engineering and— besides writing— works as a Database Manager for one of the largest private child services agencies in the Cleveland area. He has published over 25 novels since 1993. He has recently completed the Dragon* series for DAW books, the first of which, Dragon•Princess, came out May 2014. The second, Dragon•Thief, appeared in April 2015. The final volume, Dragon•Wizard, arrived in March 2016.​

Rose Withering is a self-published author of Fantasy and women's fiction. She is currently working on Fantastic Tales of Fae, a high fantasy series with an urban twist. Her current published works are Soul Mates An Unforgettable Summer, Thornburg's Daughter the preview novel of the fantasy series, and A Magi's Meow, a children fantasy first chapter book written with her niece.   
She is the proud wife of Science fiction author, Dan R. Arman and the Municipal Liaison of the Akron region for NaNoWriMo National Novel Writing Month.

Olivia Berrier is often clueless and always shoeless. She left behind many footprints at Hollins University in Virginia, where she studied Creative Writing and Mathematics. After college, her bare feet have carried her through many experiences, but her life remains anchored by writing. Olivia writes fantasy fiction, sometimes with a mathematical inclination, and has been dropping stories like breadcrumbs across the Internet since 2007. When she is not writing (and sometimes also when she is writing) Olivia is in love with candles, tea, yoga, running, snail-mail correspondence, napping, and memorizing the decimals of Pi. She also loves connecting with people who share her love for the written word and the singular magic that it creates.​

Stitches has been a long time attendee of the convention since year one and has also been the first place Cosplay winner 4 years running!

Mary Turzillo's 1999 Nebula-winner,"Mars Is no Place for Children" and her Analog novel, An Old-Fashioned Martian Girl, are read on the International Space Station. Her poetry collection, Lovers & Killers, won the 2013 Elgin Award. She has been a finalist on the British Science Fiction Association, Pushcart, Stoker, Dwarf Stars and Rhysling ballots. Sweet Poison, her Dark Renaissance collaboration with Marge Simon, was a Stoker finalist and won the 2015 Elgin Award. She's working on a novel, A Mars Cat and his Boy, and another collaboration with Marge Simon, this one about evil women. Her novel Mars Girls, will be coming out in 2017 from Apex. She lives in Ohio, with her scientist-writer husband, Geoffrey Landis.

Marie Vibbert's work has appeared in top magazines such as Asimov's and Analog, Strange Horizons and Lightspeed.  

The Oxford Culture Review called one of her stories "Everything science fiction should be." She has also been a medieval reenactor and a lineman for the Cleveland Fusion women's tackle football team.
