Geoffrey A. Landis is a science-fiction writer and a scientist. He has won the Hugo and Nebula awards for science fiction. He is the author of the novel Mars Crossing and the story collection Impact Parameter (and Other Quantum Realities). He was the 2014 recipient Robert A. Heinlein Award "for outstanding published works in science fiction and technical writings that inspire the human exploration of space." As a scientist, he works for NASA on developing advanced technologies for spaceflight. He is a member of the Mars Exploration Rover science team, and worked with the NASA Institute for Advanced Concepts on designs for a wind-powered Venus rover.

Doug Farren is the author of 11 science fiction and fantasy novels--all of them self-published. He is also a member of SFWA (Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America).
His six book Galactic Alliance series is a space-opera style military science fiction set of novels. He is also the author of a three book fantasy series (Dragonverse) with a splash of science fiction thrown in. His other two novels are stand-alone military science fiction. Cleveland ConCoction - Authors Alley 2018 Daniel A. Willis writes both fiction and nonfiction.
In his historical works, he describes the world as it was. In his fantasy novels, ne envisions it as it could be. A native of Ohio, Mr. Willis has called Colorado home for three decades. Cleveland ConCoction - Authors Alley 2018 Dan R. Arman taught English Composition at Stark State College in Ohio. For several years, he worked as a newspaper reporter, an editor and also teaches at an online high school. He holds a master’s degree in English literature and rhetoric from Kent State University. He currently lives in Akron, OH with his wife and two cats. Riding a Black Horse is his third novel.
Cleveland ConCoction - Authors Alley 2018 Cindy A. Matthews grew up watching Star Trek and reading the science fiction classics along with Harlequin romances. Somewhere along the line she figured it was just as fun to write stories as it was to read them. The BloodDark series (co-written with her husband) is her latest science fiction series written for Young Adults. She writes contemporary and fantasy romantic-comedies as Cynthianna, including the Doctor Who-inspired Loving Who series. She also writes SF/vampire erotic-romance under the pen name of Celine Chatillon.
Cleveland ConCoction - Authors Alley 2018 Barbara Doran is a pulp writer with Airship 27. Her novels include "Claws of the Golden Dragon", "Wings of the Golden Dragon" and "Tales of the Golden Dragon". She has several short stories in the works with Airship 27, including a Sinbad tale "Island of the Puppet Master".
Barbara is also the 2nd place winner of Baen's 2017 Fantasy Short Story Contest for her story, "Dust of the Fallen". Cleveland ConCoction - Authors Alley 2018 Addie J. King is an attorney by day and author by nights, evenings, weekends, and whenever else she can find a spare moment. …in an English village next to the windy North Sea. A precocious talent for writing developed and by the time he was nine he was already producing stories for the entertainment of his friends. After an indifferent career in high school, college and university, he went on to work in the tourist industry, the British Inland Revenue and local government. After the fun of bureaucracy palled he left and established his own courier business. A.J. now lives in NW Ohio with his wife, erotic-romance author Celine Chatillon, who also writes romantic-comedy as Cynthiannna. He enjoys reading, cooking, history, and travel and has traveled in Canada, France and Hungary. On occasion he also ventures back to the French-Indian War of the 18th Century, taking part in living history re-enactment events as a grenadier of the 78th Frazer’s Highlanders. We have a shining new addition to our Authors Alley! Seanan McGuire will be our 2018 Author Guest of Honor! You may recognize the name from any one of 29 novels and a huge stack of short stories. She was awarded the John Campbell Best New Writer in 2010 and in short order became a 'triple crown winner' being awarded the Nebula (2016), Hugo (2017) and Locus (2017) for "Every Heart a Doorway". On top of all that she's also a filker of some renown. And this year she'll be sharing her considerable talents with ConCoction. Our Authors Alley would like you to welcome Barbara Doran and Daniel A Willis who will both a attending authors in the 2018 Literary Track at Cleveland ConCoction.
