Josef Matulich is a writer, special effects artist and costumer who once, long ago, was shanghaied into being a Landsknecht commandant. In his copious free time, he operates a vintage and costume store with his wife Kit and son Aidan. They all live in a suburb of Columbus Ohio infested with deer, hawks, and foxes, none of which seem to be reanimated.

​He has written novels, flash fiction, plays and screenplays. One horror/comedy screenplay has been in Pre-Production Hell for years. The final volume of his Arcanum Faire trilogy, The Ren Faire at the End of the World, was just published by Post Mortem Press

Weston Kincade writes fantasy, paranormal, and horror novels that stretch the boundaries of imagination, and often genres. His current series include the A Life of Death trilogy and the Priors. Ransacking passing ships doesn't pay the bills, so he also works in the software industry, where he gets to use his tantrum management skills on a daily basis.

Sara Dobie Bauer is a bestselling author, model, and mental health advocate with a creative writing degree from Ohio University. ​S. Andrew Swann is the pen name of Steven Swiniarski. He’s married and lives in the Greater Cleveland area where he has lived all of his adult life. He has a background in mechanical engineering and— besides writing— works as a Database Manager for one of the largest private child services agencies in the Cleveland area. He has published over 25 novels since 1993. He has recently completed the Dragon* series for DAW books, the first of which, Dragon•Princess, came out May 2014. The second, Dragon•Thief, appeared in April 2015. The final volume, Dragon•Wizard, arrived in March 2016.​

Her current published works are Soul Mates An Unforgettable Summer, Thornburg's Daughter the preview novel of the fantasy series, and A Magi's Meow, a children fantasy first chapter book written with her niece.

Olivia Berrier is often clueless and always shoeless. She left behind many footprints at Hollins University in Virginia, where she studied Creative Writing and Mathematics. After college, her bare feet have carried her through many experiences, but her life remains anchored by writing. Olivia writes fantasy fiction, sometimes with a mathematical inclination, and has been dropping stories like breadcrumbs across the Internet since 2007. Mary Turzillo's 1999 Nebula-winner,"Mars Is no Place for Children" and her Analog novel, An Old-Fashioned Martian Girl, are read on the International Space Station. Her poetry collection, Lovers & Killers, won the 2013 Elgin Award. She has been a finalist on the British Science Fiction Association, Pushcart, Stoker, Dwarf Stars and Rhysling ballots. Sweet Poison, her Dark Renaissance collaboration with Marge Simon, was a Stoker finalist and won the 2015 Elgin Award. She's working on a novel, A Mars Cat and his Boy, and another collaboration with Marge Simon, this one about evil women. Her novel Mars Girls, will be coming out in 2017 from Apex. She lives in Ohio, with her scientist-writer husband, Geoffrey Landis.
