Melissa is a several time award winning Author (John W Campbell, Lambda, and Spectrum) for her works in Science Fiction, Fantasy and Alternative History, who studied at History at Harvard and earned her PhD from Brandeis University.
She has written more than thirty original novels and has written tie-ins for Star Trek: DS9, Star Trek: Voyager, Stargate SG-1, and Stargate Atlantis.
