Cleveland ConCoction's goal has been to be a local fan-run group that spreads the love of geekdom as well as the message of serving the community here in NE Ohio.
All of our events have had the goals of being fun, educational, share our the love of the arts & games and show Cleveland's geek side and to bring the geek community together.
Our game days have also had the added benefit of being food drives to support the Cleveland Foodbank as well as other local food pantries that they serve.
Our 2014 & 2015 Conventions held charity silent auctions that benefited NE Ohio hospitals through the Child's Play initiative.
We've been listed since our inception with the State of Ohio as a non-profit group and have been waiting on approval for Federal Non-Profit status. This week we received this approval and we are now a Public 501(c)(3). As a charitable organization we are able to receive tax deductible devices, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522.
